Abdelaziz Elsalmawy

I am Abdelaziz Elsalmawy, an Orthopaedic Surgeon and Orthogeriatric Specialist at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust. With over 20 years of experience in trauma and fragility fractures, my work focuses on hip fracture care, osteoporosis management, and secondary fracture prevention. I am actively involved in national audits (NHFD, FLS-DB), quality-improvement programmes, and clinical research, with a particular interest in improving outcomes for older adults through evidence-based orthogeriatric practice.
